3Si are a privately owned and privately funded company, specialising in providing services and solutions to the not-for-profit sector which the company owner directors have successfully been doing so since the launch of the original Open Market product suite in 1993.

Open Market Classic was the first true developed on and specifically for Microsoft Windows Membership and CRM application.  Having previously worked with a leading edge solution provider for the not-for-profit sector the original development team (some of which are still play an inaugural part in the business today) developed Open Market Classic based on their familiarity of the sector along with their technical expertise which helped ensure that Open Market Classic suite was immediately embraced as the solution of choice for a significant client base in the not-for-profit sector.

In 2006 the 3Si team began developing a pioneering application suite for the sector that could be a natural successor to Open Market Classic and in 2007 OM.Net was launched.

OM.Net was one of the first “from the ground up” developed .Net framework application suite incorporating Web and Desktop interfaces to a fully scalable application server.

With year on year growth 3Si and the OM.Net application continues to be the success story of the sector with a significant number of not-for-profit clients, including Trade Associations, Professional Associations, Leisure Associations selecting it as their CRM software solution.  Current clients (some of which have been with 3Si since the 90’s and have moved from “Classic” to OM.Net) include National Farmers Union (NFU), Trading Standards Institute (TSI), British Mensa, British Gliding Association (BGA), Association of Building Engineers (ABE), Parent Teacher Association UK (PTA-UK) and British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) to name but a few.

OM.Net has evolved consistently since its 2007 launch, with changes being bought about based upon two main influences.  These being: the changing IT environment and customer need.  We have sought to embrace proven new technologies and also constantly seek to include changes and new request made through our active 3Si Customer Forum and Product Development Focus Group.  All these improvements have dove-tailed into the latest version of OM.Net.

As a long standing Microsoft Solution Partner, 3Si has established a reputation for total service.  Our extensive product portfolio provides solutions for all aspects of our clients’ needs including Web Enablement and Back office systems for Customer Relationship Management, Membership, Events, Committees, CPD, Product Sales and much more.

We are proud to be a UK based company who does not employ 3rd parties or contractors to complete any part of our projects.  All work completed by 3Si is done so by 3Si employed members of staff based at our Head Office in North Staffordshire.
